Shirin is a valued member of the Reata Veterinary Hospital Team, currently serving as a Small Animal Assistant while completing her degree in Veterinary Science at the University of Arizona. As she enters her senior year, Shirin continues to excel both academically and in her role at the clinic, where she is committed to providing compassionate and knowledgeable care to all of our patients.
A Tucson native with a background in horseback riding, Shirin’s passion for animal care extends beyond the clinic. She is conducting honors thesis research under the guidance of Dr. Elaine Norton, focusing on the exposure risks of barn cats to bacterial, protozoal, and intestinal parasites in Arizona. Her dedication to advancing veterinary science reflects her ambition to contribute meaningfully to the field of veterinary medicine.
The Reata Team is excited to support Shirin as she prepares to attend veterinary school and continue her journey in veterinary medicine. Her knowledge, compassion, and dedication to animal care are truly inspiring, and we can’t wait to see all that she will achieve in her future career.
